The Palace Museum
The Palace Museum is a national museum housed in the Forbidden City at the core of Beijing, China. It was established in 1925 after the last Emperor of China was evicted from his palace, and opened its doors to the public.

The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace and state residence of the Emperor of China from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty, between 1420 and 1924.

The Palace Museum
- This is an Imperial Chinese Lioness in the grounds of the Forbidden Palace, Beijing, which was constructed in the 1300s. Sometimes these are referred to as Foo Dogs and are in pairs. This is the female or lioness, as it is playing with a cub, under it’s paw. This represents nurture. They are often made of granite or cast in bronze. I was lucky enough to visit the Forbidden Palace, whilst speaking at an international leadership conference, being held in Beijing.
